Mission beyond our doors

New Covenant works with folks in need in Mississippi, Sierra Leone, la Union, Mexico and around our community (including local Food Pantry and Habitat programs).

Teams from New Covenant worked at homes on the Mississippi coast and with a church in Mexico, and will work again, helping families return to their homes some five years after the storm's passing.

In 7 days, by God's grace, we framed a house in our parking lot (with a lot of help from area churches!), shipped it to Mississippi, and dried it in completely. Praise the Lord! Click for more...

Pray for our hosts, sister Juanita, our brother Ferny, and the church in la Union.

After five years of service with our brothers and sisters in la Unión we praise God for what He has done.

Our hosts in Mississippi have been powerful witnesses to God's grace through the deepest tragedies, as evidenced in the poetry of homeowner Angie Jeter of Pascagoula:

"One Hot August Day"

We all knew she was coming
all we could do is pray
for the wrath she might bring
on that hot August day.

We didn't leave because
my family chose to stay
nobody believed what was
really coming our way.
