PLANS FOR WEBELOS CUBMOBILE
We have begun preparing for the Webelos Woods event this
year and will be building our own entry for the Cubmobile Race. Webelos (only) will be meeting at the Church
to begin work on the project within the next few weeks. This is a major goal for the Webelos this
year and something they have never tried before. Webelos Woods is scheduled for September
23-25, 2011, so Webelos need to gather all your good ideas and energy to put
into this first-time phenomenon.

TRAINING
During our June 12 meeting Joanna distributed a list of
training that is required of our Den Leaders and Committee members. Please review the list and advise when you
will be able to complete the training.
This will allow us to accomplish 100% on our Journey to Excellence Award
training goals.
Anyone who is interested in attending additional Cub Scout
Training should go to the Sweetwater District Website (http://www.sweetwaterbsa.org) to see
what is available. There are several
Baloo and OWL classes coming up. If you
have any questions, you can check with Joanna LaConto or Bo Hunt.
NEW HEALTH FORMS
If you have not already done so, please remember to get
your son’s new health form completed when he goes to the doctor for his
pre-school year medical exam. Please get
the new Health Forms on line or from your Den Leader during the Rocket Launch,
so we can get them completed and make copies for the files we must maintain at
Pack-level. If you have any questions,
please contact Joanna LaConto or Sandy Hoskinson.
SUMMERTIME
PACK AWARD
We succeeded in achieving our Summertime Pack Award after
completion of our bowling event. We will
complete the paperwork to receive the award and hope to present it during
September. Thanks to your combined
efforts we can add another accomplishment to our “legend”
